Based in Dun Laoghaire, although likely to commence employment remotely due to the current situation, the Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for the design, development, maintenance and automation of software applications, databases, servers and services.
This role would suit a self-starter who enjoys working in a collaborative team and loves to make a real difference at work. The kind of person who aims to automate themselves out of a job, because we have many other jobs to do next!
The role sits within the DevOps team of Phonovation, reporting to an SRE Team Lead and working alongside 3 other full time SRE’s, who collectively are responsible for deployment, maintenance and second/third line support of all our services, including a host of legacy systems.

A clear understanding of the purpose, principles and designs of any continuous integration pipeline technologies and a belief in the use of automation and orchestration tools used in them
