Interactive Marketing
The Halifax is Ireland’s newest provider of residential
mortgages and saving accounts. The Halifax has embarked on a
bold new cross media advertising campaign aimed at introducing
new and varied banking services into the Irish market. The Halifax
partnered with Phonovation to provide interactive text services
for mortgages, credit card, current accounts and all of their
other banking services on offer.
Advertising and fulfillment
Phonovation were successful in securing the contract to provide
IVR & SMS services for the Crisis Pregnancy Agency “You
Can Talk To Me” campaign in May 2007. The campaign was
built around press, radio and TV advertisements encouraging the
public to request a copy of a DVD and information pack explaining
how to talk to your children about relationships. Phonovation
provided a Freephone number and a freetext shortcode but also
transcribed each request into a database, packaged each DVD,
labeled them and posted them on a daily basis. We worked closely
with the CPA in the design of the campaign and supported them
on a day to
day with response analysis and live statistics.
The CPA’s target was to encourage the public to request
10,000 DVD’s over the course of the campaign. With Phonovation’s
support, 18,000 DVD’s were requested and delivered.
Secure Information Services
In 2000 Phonovation began working with the Department of Education
with a view to develop an automated, secure system that would
deliver Leaving Certificate Exam results to students via IVR.
Phonovation designed and implemented a telephone based platform
that would allow students call en masse, enter their student
exam ID and be able to listen to their exam results on the day
that they became available. This service was first used in September
2000 and was available to every student in the country. The popularity
of the service has grown every year since then and in excess
of 100,000 students received their exam results from the privacy
of their own home directly from Phonovation since it began.
